What I was still missing… NotePlan Around 2009 I was early to Evernote, Trello, Google Docs, Google Keep, Mind Meister, Meister Task, Dropbox, GQueues and Nimble CRM; and in 2017 when Eric from Zenkit hit me up on Twitter I rolled my eyes at yet another todo app based Kanban board. I was looking for a note taking application where I control my data. I switched to Quiver because it stores my notes in a plaintext library of JSON that I can move across git, gDrive, dropbox or just transfer between devices manually. I also use Quaver (an community-developed android app) to get an _alright_ mobile experience out of it. ’s Market Junkie (Mac App Store Link) turns you into a financial wiz with a full management solution for your stock portfolio. Daily planning can be a mess when you have giant todo-lists or a dozen scribbled notes in notebooks. NotePlan helps you fix this pain with a mix of a markdown calendar, journal, notes, and todo-list. Use it to build your productivity machine!
Next to Alfred, Keyboard Maestro is a must-have app if you aspire to be a macOS power user. You can use it to create macros for pretty much any set of macOS functions. Clipboard management, text expansion, iTunes control, app launches, Share actions, mouse-click automation—Keyboard Maestro can do it all for you.
"It's ideal for planning out your day, Bullet Journal style. [...] the combination of scheduling, tagging, and (plain text, portable) notes in one place makes it a true productivity tool." - Brett Terpstra, MacStories
I'm looking for an organization tool like this.
Sounds good? Well, it looks good, too.

Well, it fills a void that no app has filled. I have tried and abandoned several, OmniFocus, Aeon Timeline, Todoist, Things, etc. Tried using the reminders/scheduling in iMindMap, Curio. They are all too complex. Was going to try TaskPaper, but it's too expensive, and doesn't seem to have all the functionality that NotePlan has. Bear has tasks, but they don't interface with Reminders and Calendar, nor does it show you events for the day from the calendar and reminders apps.
