the light blue and silver-dashed tabby kitten raced along the lakes edge, green eyes reflecting its calm, glass-like water. her small paws unearthed sand as she went, making nearby cats move. she enjoyed running; it made her feel free.

The pure black warrior cat bounded by the kitten, but not close enough to talk or anything. Even if she was, she never communicated well with anyone. Her dark small ears twitched as she heard a rustling sound in the bushes nearby. Probably a squirrel. Maybe even an evil squirrel. (  ) She continued to run, faster now, all the hair on her body moving in waves, the wind pushing it along. |

The lithe black she-cat popped her head out of the water. "Hi!" she chirped, swimming close to the land, matching the other cats' pace.

The warrior nearly jumped out of her fur! The cat had scared her, that was true but the thing that was scaring her right now the most was the concept of "conversation". Thinking fast she just decided to copy what the other cat said. What was it again? Hey...sup... "Hi?"

She giggled before speeding up and swimming in a few swirls before returning to the other cats and jumping out of the water. "I'm Moonkit!" she chirped.

Ghostflower looked at her and gulped, deciding to say a compliment. Compliments are nice. Compliments don't make things awkward. "You have a-a-a umm...pretty name. Yes, a pretty name." she said and breathed a sigh of relief. It hadn't been that bad.
(btw you guys, I don't know if you have noticed but whenever my character is thinking in their head, i put the sentence into italics so just telling ya)

"Thanks!" the kit chirped before turning to Minnowstream. "Hi! I don't know if you heard, but I'm Moonkit. I'm six moons old, so I'll be apprenticed REALLY soon!" she chirped, babbling like the brook (i just really wanted to say that even though it's kinda cheesy cx)

Ghostflower looked at the two kits in amusement. They were just so talkative. She had never been like that. When everyone was running and jumping, screaming as the water touched their fur she would have been sitting, watching or running to get away from the noise.

A beautiful tortoiseshell came over and sat neatly beside Ghostflower. "Kits," she whispered, smiling, her beautiful green eyes never leaving the kits.

Ghostflower gasped as the beautiful cat sat down. Then realizing it was just another cat, blushed and side stepped the opposite way of the cat.

She smiled, training her eyes back on the kits to ease the awkwardness. She felt that if she wasn't staring at the other warrior, it wouldn't make her so uncomfortable. Silentgalaxy didn't talk a whole lot, and she had mustered up a lot of bravery to get herself to come over and speak so smoothly.
